Since 2016, Laurent and Paul BOTT have been working together to produce a rare and unusual wine, a blend of Riesling from the three Grand Crus offered by the commune of Ribeauvillé: Grand Cru Kirchberg de Ribeauvillé, Grand Cru Osterberg and Grand Cru Geisberg: The GRAND TRIO.

Its measured composition gives it an incredible structure and a unique personality. Its precise acidity and minerality reflect the pure expression of the wonderful and prestigious terroirs of Ribeauvillé.

Comments of Pascal Leonetti, Best Sommelier of France 2006:

The color of the Riesling Grand Trio is lemon yellow with light green reflections, of beautiful intensity. The disk is brilliant, limpid, transparent. The wine has a brilliant youthfulness.

The nose is frank, pleasant, intense. Racy, we perceive a dominant of overripe citrus fruit smells, like lemon, orange, clementine, as well as fine floral touches. The aeration amplifies these smells and delivers exotic notes, pineapple, papaya, spices, ginger and an underlying naphthenic mineral touch.
The nose shows a perfect maturity of the grapes where the precise profile, already focused on the terroir, wonderfully translates the singularity of Ribeauvillé wines.

The attack in mouth is slender, ripe, the alcohol support is balanced. One evolves on a tense, sharp, finely pearled medium, where one finds the aromas of the nose. Still dominated by candied citrus fruits, yusu zest, clementine, orange, spices, ginger, white flowers and, always in filigree, this mineral touch of naphtha. We perceive a fine astringency. The finish has a nice length, as well as a frank vivacity.
The balance of this wine is carried on the typical freshness of the commune, the range of ripe aromas participates and the definition of the terroirs, complex, suggests a model in the making.
